Hard hitting, fast action.

Like the previous book in this series,The Circuit Rider, this book does really well with the serial format. Each episode is like a lightning quick hard burst of story and action. By no means does this mean that the plot or characters suffer. The mystery of Killer's Draw is well thought out and plotted and Bird Hitchcock is a delightful character. Even with the fast paced story telling you get to know and feel for both Bird and Tower. If you enjoy mysteries, westerns, or serial fiction you should definitely give this book and it's predecessor a try, you won't be disappointed. I sincerely hope to read more of Tower and Bird's adventures for a long time to come.

I loved this writer's book - great and interesting western

This is my first time reading Dani Amore but I am interested in reading more. Fine and adventurous story. I loved the characters and the main character and the women with him. She has a very severe drinking problem but is able to be effective with her role. Great story - another great western writer.

Killer's Draw hits another bullseye!

First and foremost, if you read the first part to the 'Circuit Rider' tale then you're going to want to snatch this sequel up quick! It's the perfect continuation to the story and a must-read. However, it's not even necessary that you read the first part to enjoy this one.. but like any sequel, you'll enjoy it more if you do!
Dani Amore has developed a knack for writing westerns that thrill even non-western fans, such as myself. The characters are both likeable and believable and will leave you wanting to follow their trails and tales.
In the second book which will hopefully be continued as a series, our heroes Tower and Bird continue to have their characters developed with both rich history, an exciting present and a future that leaves the reader wanting more. There's humor here along side a healthy dose of action, intrigue and suspense. You just can't go wrong with a Dani Amore book, and it's proven here once again! Bullseye!
